Love to read? Love romance? Then you've come to the right place. Each week, the authors of Romance Weekly dish about what it's really like to write those romance novels you love to read. We'll chat about love, writing, and our lives. When you're done reading this blog, hop on over to the next writer for a different perspective. And don't forget to leave a comment below before you leave.
If you found me by way of Ronnie Allen http://ronnieallennovel.com/blog, welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay. This week, in honor of Thanksgiving, we're doing our virtual version of going around the dinner table to count our blessings.
THIS YEAR, I AM THANKFUL FOR . . .
MY CRAZY FAMILY & FRIENDS
because it means they still care enough about me to drive me insane.
THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF BEING A TEACHER
because I have a job when so many others don't.
MY SWEET & SOUR STUDENTS
because it means they came to school to learn,
from me of all people!
MY HOUSE, FLAWS AND ALL
because it means I still have a roof over my head,
despite its cramped imperfections.
THE AUTHORS OF ROMANCE WEEKLY
because my online support group actually understands what it's like to relentlessly pursue a career as a writer. And they understand what it's like to be half in love with a fictional character that sprang from my own imagination. And they don't think I'm crazy!
For taking a chance on me.
MY ANGELS IN HEAVEN, WHO WATCH OVER ME
My mom, Uncle Ed, Uncle Jim, and all my grandparents.
Dearly loved, sorely missed.
Thanks for stopping by today. May your Thanksgiving be filled with love, laughter, and good food.
